Creating a successful event will without question demonstrate to the broader kink community the power, value, and wealth of knowledge and experience People of Color have to show up, support, and educate in WIITWD.

The Leather Solidarity Collective (LSC) is proud to announce UPRISE 2023! SOULS UNITED, a celebration of People of Color in Leather and Kink, Saturday, October 14, 2023!
UPRISE 2023! has shifted and will now be a 1-day VIRTUAL event complete with a keynote and an award ceremony.
This year’s theme echoes the thoughts and feelings that many of us have after the trauma, pain, and struggles of the last three years. SOULS UNITED will focus on opportunities for BIPOC Leather and Kink community members to come together to heal, to grow, and to take comfort in one another’s presence. Only when we are UNITED are we strong enough to overcome our challenges and thrive. We look forward to uniting virtually with our Leather and Kink siblings as well as our friends and co-conspirators through conversations and fellowship, a thought-provoking keynote by Goddess Narcissa, the presentation of the Uprise Award of Excellence and the Sir Strange Memorial Award.
