UPRISE! Conference Rules

All UPRISE! 2021 Conference Speakers, Volunteers, and Attendees must understand and agree to the following rules/terms and conditions for the duration of the event planning, preparation, and event activities:

  1. AGE REQUIREMENT | All UPRISE! 2021 attendees, presenters, volunteers, and conference staff must be 18 years of age or older. By attending UPRISE! 2021 identification may be requested by any member of the UPRISE! 2021 Conference Staff at any time as proof of age.

  2. REGISTRATION | One (1) registration is good for one (1) attendee and may not be shared or transferred to another without the explicit written permission from an UPRISE! 2021 Co-Chair or Director.  By attending UPRISE! 2021 identification may be requested by any member of the UPRISE! 2021 Conference Staff at any time as proof of registration for UPRISE! 2021.  

  3. SAFE SPACE | No discrimination, racism, or hate speech of ANY kind will be tolerated.  Any violation, as determined by any UPRISE! 2021 staff member, will result in an immediate termination of UPRISE! 2021 access and permanent ban to all future LSC and UPRISE! Events both virtual and in person without refund or compensation.  UPRISE! 2021 is a safe space for diversity, inclusion, and acceptance, especially for BIPOC in the Kink and Leather Lifestyle.  

  4. NO NUDITY or SEX ACTS | When sharing video, genitalia must be covered at all times (regardless of gender/sex) and no sex acts will be within view of the camera.  Presenters/entertainers may request permission, and must receive written formal approval by an UPRISE! 2021 Conference Co-Chair or Director PRIOR to July 4, 2021.  

  5. NO CHILDREN | Absolutely no children should be present or within audio or visual range of any UPRISE! Conference events.

  6. NO RECORDING, PHOTOGRAPHY, or SCREEN CAPTURE | Safety, privacy, and consent are the highest priority of UPRISE! 2021 Conference Team.  Recording of any kind, photography, and screen captures are strictly forbidden, with the exception of APPROVED UPRISE! 2021 CONFERENCE STAFF who may be authorized to record Keynote Speaker sessions that will include legal disclaimer announcements before recording begins.   

  7. RULE VIOLATIONS | Violation of UPRISE! 2021 Conference rules can result in a formal ban from UPRISE! 2021 activities and all future Leather Solidarity Collective events without refund or compensation.
