UPRISE! Presenters & Panelist

Daesha (pronouns: she/her) is a Biracial Mexican and Japanese American with Filipino and Polynesian roots. Demi Fem Leathergirl munch-host and organizer in LA/OC California, currently involved in multiple volunteering avenues supporting local events and serving as Chief Operating Officer and Big Sister Mentor for SAKE SoCal Asian Kink Events, and Mod for LA Kinky Weirdos helping raise over $10,000 in donations to the Los Angeles LGBTQ Center from charity events.

She is service and ownership oriented submissive with 16 years experience in the lifestyle centered around Total Authority Transfer and Power Exchange Relationships. She is passionate about service to the community and committed to the furthering of educational programming. Daesha first became active in the public scene in 2005 attending Passive Arts (currently known as Sanctuary LAX) through the Fet Noir group. From there she has been active in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Mesa Arizona communities as a participant, until she finally settled in the Orange County area in 2015. She has spoken on BDSM panels pertaining to BDSM 101 & Safety, BIPOC Inclusivity, AAPI Cultural Stereotypes in Kink for various organizations, as well as QTBIPOC panels for both Obsidian LA's Paradise, & Anomaly of Karansas' Cirque de Earth. Her time with Leather Solidarity Collective was spent as an Ambassador Director and opening for UPRISE 2021 as Keynote Speaker. Additionally she has been interviewed for KinkyAFPodcast as well as the Black to Leather Podcast, and has participated in and/or assisted with multiple virtual conferences. Locally she is largely known for her munch and Dungeon Party events where she was Operations Manager and Vetting Coordinator.

​Domina Atua was raised by parents who taught her the importance of sex and body positivity. She began her kink exploration as a sponge-learning submissive during the early years of university and never looked back. She served her Dom with great intrigue until Topping him became a fancy she delighted in more. Currently, she lives as a leatherwoman who runs the house she founded: House of Kush. She serves as a coalition partner to NCSF  and is a member of LGBTQ+ and Leather District—as well as The Exiles. Domina’s journey in kink allowed her to use kink to unpack and explore cathartic layers of healing that she believes strongly  influenced the woman you see today. She navigated interests which ranged from submissive to Top to slave to Dom to sadomasochist, rope bottom, primal player and more. Atua has a keen interest in writing poetry, ASMRerotica, and, on occasion, spoken word. She is ever thankful for her experiences in kink and excited to continue her journey serving the Leather Solidarity Committee.

DominaKat—an avid BDSM blogger and advocate for almost a decade—continues to be inspired by the divine intersection of Spiritual connection, deep authentic BDSM, and raw hedonistic sex.  In December 2019, she enthusiastically entered the Leather Lifestyle as an Associate Member of ONYX Pearls NY-NE, where she currently serves on the Executive Operations, Road Captain, and Marketing Committees.  In addition she is a member of the Leather Solidarity Collective (LSC) and the Project Manager for LSC’s UPRISE! 2021 Conference Organizing Committee.  As a lifetime BIPOC Ally/Advocate/Co-Conspirator she actively supports efforts meant to create safe and welcoming kink and Leather spaces for the BIPOC Community.  She is the Founder of the Ally to Advocate Program, dedicated to encouraging better BIPOC allyship and advocacy in the Lifestyle, Co-Founder for S&M.NYC, an S&M Discussion Group in NYC, and the Lead for NYC slave Meetings, a safe space for in-depth discussion for those following the right side of the slash in Authority Exchange Dynamics and Relationships.  Her erotic short stories and BDSM Blog can be found at www.DominaKat.com.

Guan-Xuan (they/it) is an asexual, transgender, nonbinary, sadistic slave who has practiced authority based dynamics since 2004. By day, Guan-Xuan is a licensed professional counselor who centers their work around queer, trans, and BIPOC experiences, specializing in identity based trauma and generational trauma from a liberation psychology lens. By night, Guan-Xuan is a multi-purpose tool, completely devoted to surrendering to its Master, Devyn Stone’s every whim and fancy. His emotional support dog and slut for degradation and humiliation. Guan-Xuan is passionate about increasing accessibility and reducing stigma for queer, trans, BIPOC, and Leather/kink communities.

Leather Redux (LR) is a just your friendly old school, neighborhood dominant leather lesbian from the 90s. She is probably the most romantic sadist you will ever know. She left kink for a bit and came back which is what "redux" means - - a return or rebirth. She has come back to kink and is not turning back.
As part of the leather tradition, service to the community is important to her and she does this by sharing and educating people where she can. If she's not teaching how to use floggers, she is sometimes teaching others about things such as knife play or fisting.  Master MsLolaSmiles once gave her the moniker as the Mayor of Fist City - - a city, if it existed, would be somewhere where she rules.

Daddy Zulu stumbled upon the kink community while in his final year in college via a chance encounter with Mistress Kay founder of People Exchanging Power- Tennessee (PEP-TN). He started attending events in 1992 and in 1994 relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and was active in PEP-Atlanta. In 1996 he became active with the dungeon and organization the Sanctuary of A Dark Angel. It was through the Sanctuary that Daddy Zulu developed as a Leatherman with guidance from Master Doug and he created the size positive pansexual group Anvil Dungeon International and served as the Producer of the event Love and Leather (1996-1999). In 1997 he was selected at the first Regional Coordinator (Southeast) for The Leather Archives and Museum. Daddy Zulu also has taught at various meetings and events across the country. His focus when presenting/teaching is bigger bodies play, fisting/handballing, sex magic/rituals, impact play, Leather History and activism for people of color. In addition to his activism and participation in the Leather/BDSM Community, He is a skilled club/event disc jockey and Master of Ceremony and has performed several lifestyle and political events. for SEIU-UHW- Bay Area (2001-2014) including the Dark Arts Festival, Fetfest and Folsom Street Fair.
 

Master Kaddan Yue, Northeast Leather Woman 2020-2021, Leather Solidarity Collective & UPRISE! Co-Producer, founding sister & VP of the ONYX Pearls NY/Northeast, and LLC 2022 Servant Leader award winner, has more than 40 years’ experience living the lifestyle. After spending her initial seven years in the lifestyle "training from the bottom up," she has become the third generation of her line trained in this style. Master Kaddan now spends her retirement years doing service for her community locally and nationally by doing presentations and helping to mentor and educate the next generation. She is currently working many passion projects that will help bridge the gap between mental health and the BDSM lifestyle. Master Kaddan’s house, ‘The House of Yue’, currently has a trainee, a neophyte, and one property.  All members of Her house also share Her passion for community service.

Master WrathDaddy is the 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 Heartland Person of Leather, a horror and erotica author, former heavyweight kickboxing champion, former MMA trainer, owner and proprietor of The Bacchanal (Austin’s community dungeon) and a badass motherfucker who enjoys doing badass shit with other badass motherfuckers. He has been a full-time and active member of Austin’s BDSM community since 2013, though he has been in and out of the kink community since 1991. Since then he has been a board member at large for GWNN (Group With No Name) one of Austin's oldest and largest BDSM groups, from 2015 through 2016, co-chairman of the GWNN Bash in 2015 and 2016, a mentor in the Austin Mentor's Program, and has presented workshops for SAADE, GWNN, Desert Dominion, Flame Conference, Wicked Grounds, Threshold, Master Slave Conference, Kinkfest, Colorado Leather Fest, Oklahoma Leather Fest, and many other local, national, and international groups on topics ranging from the Daddy Dom/ babygirl dynamic to rough-body play, and knife-play. MrLadybug is a queer, Leather, sadistic Daddy, who loves to dominate a good conversation or scene. Her preferred pronouns are She/They/Sir. She has been an active member of the queer, Kink and Leather community for over a decade. She’s blessed to have her wife and partner in crime, Fionna, by her side. They can often be found Co-Topping or showing off their toy bag. MrL enjoys heavy impact scenes and
bondage! She grew up in the Bay Area but her kink journey started in northern California (Chico) and has moved to Boise, Idaho, where she has been active in the community for over 6 years now. She has been fortunate enough to have traveled to various areas and states over the years while expanding her network and helping the community every chance she gets. From running a play space, hosting and co-
hosting socials, munches and sloshes, to producing and co-producing educational intensives, MrL is passionate about the lifestyle and is always looking for opportunities to give back. Her current projects include a Lending Library for the Boise Area and Mr. Ladybug's Lounge. A platform that supports community growth through education, both in-person and virtually. She enjoys volunteering and bringing people together, as well as giving back with the Alternative Collective, a local Leather house that she is a member of. She also supports the local Boise MAsT chapter, leads a couple of groups on FetLife and most recently, started presenting, just to name a few. MrL is always learning, growing and
looking forward to the next opportunity.

 

​MsDDom is very active in the Atlanta community and lives in an M/s dynamic with her slave, CreamDream. She holds membership in MAsT chapters, leads Black FemDoms-Atlanta, co-leads Black Atlanta Munch, is founding member and Road Captain of Women in Leather Atlanta, as well as, serves as Award Chair for NLA-I, Education Director for the Leather Solidarity Collective, and Southeast coordinator for Women of Drummer. Recipient of the SELF Community Award and SE Pantheon of Leather Award, MsDDom continues her service to the community by presenting, peer mentoring, volunteering, and curating the Black FemDoms-Atlanta podcast. MsDDom and CreamDream volunteer for the Carter/Johnson Leather Library & Collection Atlanta Annex as Librarians and enjoy traveling across the U.S. and Canada.
 

Mx.MitaBear (they/them) is a multi-racial, genderqueer, kinky fucker whose BDSM is intimately entwined with their spirituality. Mita has been modifying bodies using various methodologies since the 1990s. Mita has spent the time since combining body modification, S&M, and spiritual rituals. Mita is Head of House Anchor, a leather family dedicated to supporting each other in personal growth and service to the community. Mita is co-producer of Ritual Steel, a transformative ritual-piercing event that provides a unique spiritual and educational experience.  With a firm belief in building our community, Mita volunteers at events to create a safe space for anyone interested in education, enjoyment, and growth in BDSM and energy-focused spirituality.

Is a Human Rights advocate and has been doing work in intersectionality and human rights for over 20 years.  

Her philosophy is,  It is our human right to live our Leather/Kink lives to our full glory.  

She has presented classes, and workshops in  many different conferences in vanilla and kink, but, not surprisingly... she gets the greatest kick out of Kink.


 

slave audi Yue has been active in the lifestyle for the past 14 years. She began her voyage as a pet and later learned that her heart was called to be a slave. She has been in her current dynamic with Master Kaddan Yue for almost 12 years where she now serves as majordomo and house techie. slave audi serves her community by being co-director of Marketing for the Leather Solidarity Collective, being a founding member of the upcoming group - Leather Service Alliance (LSA), and volunteering for many groups and conferences.
